Description
This drawing is entitled "St. Francis". St. Francis of Assisi is known as the patron saint of animals and the environment. Many of the stories that surround the life of St. Francis deal with his love for animals. His attitude towards the natural world was that it was the duty of mankind to protect and enjoy nature as both the stewards of God's creation and as creatures ourselves.
