This drawing is entitled "Water", and is part of The Elements series. In ancient philosophy, the four elemental processes of earth, water, fire and air are the essential materials of all existing phenomena. The elemental processes form the basis of the calendar, astrology, medicine, psychology and are the foundation of many spiritual traditions.

Inspirations for my work range from myth and legend, to things of spirit and the unseen dimensions. I seek to present a perspective that is soulful and transformative...unique for each viewer. My love of art has been life-long, and further nurtured by my years spent at the Rhode Island School of Design, where I studied figurative drawing and sculpture. My originals are created in beautiful Prismacolor colored pencil. Each commissioned artwork takes about a month to complete.
